5 Tips to Create the Life You Want
Who doesn’t want all the happiness and successful in the world right? We all deserve it. However, a good life isn’t something that will just fall into your lap. You still need to make it happen. I completely believe in karma and the law of attraction. Plain and simple – you get what you ask for. YOU have the choice to make your life, no one else is going to make it for you. Here are my five tips to get what you want in life.
Have a positive mindset
Here is the first and crucial step to getting what you want. You NEED to ditch the negative thoughts and see the bright side of things. I know it is not easy and is something you will have to work on. Believe me, it’s taken me years to get where I am and I still have my bad days. Try to look at each situation, even if you feel it is a negative one, as a lesson and a part of your path to getting what you want. You know the saying “there is a reason for everything”, yea I believe in that too. For example, someone might not get what they thought would be the “best” job and see it as bad luck. However, if they develop a positive mindset, they can look at the situation and realize it may because their is even a better job out there for them.
Make what you want known
Your goals and life you want shouldn’t be kept a secret. Get it out! Tell your family, friends, and write about it in your journal. Let the universe hear you!
Get real with yourself
Sit down and write down a list of what is helping you reach your goals and what is not. Then, decide how to either get rid of or change those things that are not helping you reach your goals. Next, write down how you really are feeling in your life in that moment. Don’t compare your life to anyone else’s!
Surround yourself with other like minded beings
You think you’re going to get that dream job when you have a friend who complains she has the worst job and is stuck? I’m not saying ditch your friends but try to find people who have similar values and can help you reach your goals.
Let go of the past
We all want to blame everything wrong with us on our past experiences. Yes, they effected us and shaped who we are but they do not DETERMINE who we become!
